We had our usual Wednesday common meal tonight. Yum....Fajitas
Visitors included Raines from www.CohousingCoach.com and the Lippers (Who also helped cook).. Way to go.
Following the meal the kids played a game in the main room.
And we don't want to leave out Jeff, and remember that there is "some" work to be done. He did a bunch of the cleaning. Thanks Jeff...

Thanks, Dave. A great meal, wonderful common house (feels like a ski lodge, a lot bigger than ours at Berkeley Cohousing), a fun chance to introduce our birthday song, and share your traditions. Worth the long drive over Wolf Creek Pass, 3 hours of driving on ice and snow (7 hours total) to make it here from Casa Verde Commons in Colorado Springs, where I gave them some marketing help last night.
Rather than link to our site, it might be more worth mentioning that I'm former Coho/US board member and current FIC boardmember, specializing in "aging in community" and helping communities connect, within themselves, with other communities, and their neighbors; I'm a Northern California Cohousing regional organizer. I've been to nearly all the built U.S. cohousing communities, and had a great dinner-table conversation at your common meal about the link betwen sustainability and community. I'm looking forward to coming back for a longer visit when things are green, perhaps in late May on my way to FIC's "Art of Community" conference in Albuquerque.
